About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for students pursuing degrees in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. You will work on-site in Pasadena, Texas, to support our production processes and engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Monitor plant conditions to find ways to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Walk through the plant to check equipment status, operating practices, and the accuracy of P&IDs.
- Update engineering documentation to keep records current.
- Talk with operators and supervisors to learn about process challenges and standard work routines.
- Use data analysis and field observations to help troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
- Support small projects, plant trials, and ongoing process improvements.
- Join problem-solving teams and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in updating operating procedures and process documentation.
- Observe Process Safety Management and Management of Change activities.
- Present your findings and recommendations at the end of the internship.
