    About the role#

    As a Process Engineering Intern, you will join the Engineering Team in Green Bay to help optimize manufacturing methods and processes. This role offers hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. You will work with engineers to improve productivity, analyze designs, and support safety initiatives.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with the Engineering Team to optimize manufacturing processes and methods.
    • Gain exposure to LEAN manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, ergonomics, and time studies.
    • Analyze engineering design documents, prototypes, and change orders for manufacturability.
    • Partner with EH&S personnel to support safety and environmental initiatives.
    • Assist in evaluating equipment, tooling, materials, and automation decisions.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement or revise manufacturing workflows.
    • Utilize CAD/CAM tools for design-related tasks.
    • Adhere to all safety and quality policies.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week from May through August 2027.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

    • Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Physical Requirements: You will need to lift up to 15 pounds and spend time on the production floor. This role requires proper footwear and PPE for floor visits. You must have your own housing arrangements in or near Green Bay, as housing is not provided.
