About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience within the Credit Department at our corporate headquarters. You will work alongside experienced professionals to learn credit operations, support financial projects, and gain exposure to how a global organization functions. This position is designed to help you apply your classroom knowledge to real-world tasks while building your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Learn credit processes and financial systems.
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate records.
- Review and evaluate credit data, such as trade references and financial statements, to support credit limit decisions.
- Follow up with customers regarding past-due accounts using aging reports.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word for credit analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate across departments to support credit operations and team goals.
- Identify solutions to improve existing processes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow all company safety and quality policies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or a related field.
- Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week from May through August.
- Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
