About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship within the Technology Ecosystem Alliances team. You will work alongside alliance leaders, business development professionals, and technology practitioners to support strategic partnerships. This role focuses on developing skills in business operations, analytics, and ecosystem strategy. The position is based in Reston, Virginia, and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Support alliance reporting, KPI tracking, and operational analytics.
- Assist with CRM data quality reviews, opportunity tracking, and deal registration.
- Prepare business reviews, presentations, and partner meeting materials.
- Help maintain alliance documentation, knowledge repositories, and operational playbooks.
- Support partner certification, designation, and enablement programs.
- Conduct research on partner programs, technology trends, and ecosystem initiatives.
- Support partner-funded programs, incentives, and investment tracking.
- Contribute to partner-facing and internal content.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on automation and reporting efficiency.
- Explore how AI tools can improve alliance operations, reporting, and communications.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of 15 completed college-level credit hours by the start date.
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to business, analytics, information systems, marketing, communications, management, economics, or public policy.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Work Authorization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, or SharePoint.
- Familiarity with business reporting, dashboards, data analysis, or project coordination.
- Interest in technology partnerships, consulting, business operations, or strategic growth.
- Interest in cloud platforms, enterprise software, AI technologies, and partner ecosystems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, research, or analysis.

- Compensation: $23 per hour.
