About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship starting in June 2027. You will join the Contracts, Procurement, and Pricing teams to support internal processes that help project teams win and manage work. You will gain experience in government and commercial contracting, procurement, and compliance. Please indicate your preference for Contracts, Subcontracts, Purchasing, or Compliance in your application materials.
What you'll do#
- Review and draft Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and modifications.
- Manage contract files on SharePoint and assist with setups in the Contract Management System.
- Participate in the proposal development process, including reviewing solicitation terms and assisting with price volume responses.
- Use Microsoft Copilot and other tools to summarize requirements and organize compliance information.
- Conduct market research and support supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiations.
- Assist with internal data calls, audits, and spend analysis.
- Create AI bots and job aids for compliance topics.
- Research state and local regulations and update clause matrices.
- Coordinate with internal teams and serve as a liaison between suppliers and business units.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 30 college credit hours by the start date.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- College studies in Accounting, Business Administration, Communications, Data Analysis, Economics, Management, Marketing, Psychology, Project Management, Public Policy, or Supply Chain Management.
- Interest in government contracting, procurement, research analysis, and business administration.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft software.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Reston, Virginia.
- The role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office two days per week.
- Pay is $23 per hour.
