About the role#
ICF is seeking a Business Transformation Intern to join our Business Transformation Office. This is a 10-week, full-time internship running from June through August 2027. You will work alongside operational, technical, and functional subject matter experts to support corporate transformation projects.
What you'll do#
- Support internal business transformation by contributing to corporate strategic initiatives.
- Assist the internal change management team in creating and distributing training materials and communications.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure projects meet their deadlines.
- Coordinate meetings, manage notes, and update project status dashboards in PowerBI.
- Network with executive leadership to gain exposure to corporate operations.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of 15 completed college-level credit hours in business, administration, information systems, marketing, communications, management, economics, or public policy by the start date.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, and Visio.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time and resources effectively.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in clear, written formats.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with proofreading and presentations.
- Willingness to learn project and change management concepts like Agile or ADKAR.
- Preferred: A completed Bachelor’s degree or 9 credit hours in a graduate program, experience in change management, and familiarity with MS Project or PowerBI.
Location & details#
- Location: Reston, Virginia.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $23 per hour for undergraduate interns and $28 per hour for graduate interns.
