About the role#
As a Community Development Intern at ICCU, you will help our team engage with members and the local community. You will gain hands-on experience in event production, business administration, and strategic partnerships. This is a paid, full-time position with a starting wage of $19 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams.
- Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of various events.
- Maintain accurate records by updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting 70-80 pounds of equipment, such as coolers, tables, and the money machine.
- Travel locally and stand for extended periods during events.
What you'll need#
- A valid Driver’s License, as this role requires local travel.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and solid organizational habits.
- Ability to operate basic office machines and reach keyboards.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
