About the role#
The Community Development Intern provides administrative support to the business development, communications, and events teams at ICCU. This role offers hands-on experience in event production, business administration, and strategic partnerships. You will work on-site in Idaho Falls on a part-time basis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of company events.
- Handle daily administrative tasks and department coordination.
- Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
- Schedule and coordinate events and necessary supplies.
- Complete general tasks assigned by the PR director or CD manager.
- Set up and take down equipment for events.
- Operate a company vehicle for local travel as required.
- Lift and move equipment such as coolers, tables, and money machines weighing up to 80 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment or background in Business Administration or Communications.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Capacity to problem solve both independently and within a team.
- Ability to follow all policies, procedures, and regulations.
- A valid driver's license and adequate auto insurance.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as filing, typing, and counting cash.
