About the role#
ICCU is seeking an IT Intern to join the Security team. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience within a banking environment while contributing to the security operations of the organization. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Chubbuck, Idaho.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and report on all controls associated with the ICCU Security Program.
- Collaborate with IT Security Analysts to implement security best practices and risk-based requirements.
- Maintain and support the Splunk SIEM product.
- Provide front-line monitoring and configuration of security systems.
- Assist the team with security investigations.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Post-Graduate student at an accredited university.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Completion of relevant coursework focused on IT Security.
- Ability to work during an agreed-upon schedule.
- Experience with the Splunk SIEM product is a plus.
- Relevant security certifications, such as Security+, are preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, and operate basic office equipment.
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
