About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Information Technology team during the summer of 2027. You will work alongside IT staff to learn about project management, help desk support, networking, and VoIP. This program includes an orientation kickoff and networking opportunities with colleagues and management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with end-user support, help desk calls, and ticket entry.
- Configure hardware and software and assist with installations.
- Create and update technical documentation.
- Help with basic network and VoIP tasks.
- Support Office 365 applications.
- Assist with project planning, requirements gathering, and IT inventory tracking.
- Complete all required compliance training.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology is preferred.
- Interest in a career in banking.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time position located on-site in South Bend, Indiana.
- The internship is scheduled for the summer of 2027 with a 10 to 12 week duration.
- The anticipated schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
