About the role#
This internship provides college juniors and seniors with hands-on experience in full-stack software development within a financial organization. You will gain exposure to IT policies and practical application of front-end and back-end technologies while preparing for entry into the professional business world.
What you'll do#
- Assist with full-stack development projects and tasks to understand how technology is implemented.
- Participate in testing system updates and bug fixes, including identifying defects and documenting results.
- Perform special projects as determined by the information technology staff.
- Participate in weekly IT team meetings to discuss current projects and resolve issues.
- Gain experience in professional communication, planning, and time management while working under general supervision.
What you'll need#
- Currently attending an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A strong desire to build a career in full-stack software development.
- Ability to dedicate 15-20 hours per week to the program.
- Ability to maintain the strict confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
