About the role#
This internship provides college students with hands-on experience in full-stack software development within a financial organization. You will work under general supervision to support IT projects, learn organizational policies, and gain exposure to professional corporate environments. This is a paid position for the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with full-stack development projects and tasks.
- Participate in testing system updates and bug fixes while documenting results.
- Perform special projects as assigned by the IT staff.
- Gain practical experience in both front-end and back-end development roles.
- Attend weekly meetings with the IT team to discuss projects and resolve issues.
- Support daily process validations, audit reviews, and system research.
What you'll need#
- Currently attending an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Ability to dedicate 15-20 hours per week to the program.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.
- A desire to build a career in full-stack software development.
