About the role#
This internship provides college students with hands-on experience in full-stack software development within a financial organization. You will work under general supervision to gain practical exposure to both front-end and back-end technologies while adhering to IT policies. This role is designed to prepare students for a career in the software industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with full-stack development projects and tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and projects to understand how technology is used at the organization.
- Identify defects and bugs, document testing results, and communicate findings to your manager.
- Perform daily process validations, audit reviews, and research system issues.
- Provide daily issue resolution for end users.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the IT staff.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing an IT degree with a focus on software development or a related field.
- Ability to dedicate 15-20 hours per week.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
