About the role#
As a Risk Management & Controls Intern, you will work with the Americas team to identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks. This 12-week internship provides exposure to enterprise risk management and internal controls within a global organization. You will work alongside professionals to develop business acumen and contribute to real projects that support company operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial and operational risks across the Americas region.
- Assist with assessments to evaluate if risks are managed and mitigated properly.
- Conduct research and process reviews to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
- Perform root cause and gap analysis on existing controls.
- Track action plans, audit observations, and remediation efforts.
- Prepare metrics, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams in Sales, Finance, Compliance, Audit, Legal, and Operations.
- Use AI tools to automate and simplify business workflows.
- Support Partner Ecosystem integrity activities including data gathering and reporting.
- Complete a summer project and present your findings to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Risk Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data and draw insights.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in learning and applying AI tools to business processes.
- Experience with data visualization or analytics tools is a plus.
