About the role#
As a Product Marketing and Strategy Intern, you will help make quantum computing tangible for people who have never touched a qubit. You will work with product, research, and sales teams to build demos that explain our platform and sharpen the story of why our approach is different. This role involves building and maintaining competitive demo environments that showcase the strengths of IBM Quantum.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain demo environments that showcase IBM Quantum strengths.
- Exhibit IBM Quantum in various cloud environments to show its integration with classical development.
- Translate technical differentiators into clear demo narratives.
- Partner with research and engineering teams to identify demo-worthy results.
- Create supporting materials like demo scripts, one-pagers, and FAQs.
- Monitor how technical audiences react to competing demos or announcements.
- Gather feedback from prospects and partners to refine our messaging.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in physics, computer science, engineering, marketing, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with quantum computing concepts like qubits, superposition, entanglement, and gates.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Curiosity about the broader quantum computing market.
- Comfort with Python.
- Exposure to Qiskit or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with AWS and Azure classical development environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with the general landscape of quantum computing providers and their approaches.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in the United States.
- The role is on-site.
