About the role#
As an Intern Data Engineer, you will join the AI, Analytics, Automation, and Data Services practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals to solve business and technology challenges for global clients. This internship provides hands-on experience in modernizing data platforms, building scalable pipelines, and developing AI-driven solutions. You will gain exposure to how organizations use cloud technologies and analytics to improve performance.
What you'll do#
- Support data engineering services and AI initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with designing, building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and integration processes.
- Contribute to data preparation, transformation, validation, and quality activities.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and generate insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Assist with testing and supporting data engineering and analytics solutions.
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts with experience in Python, SQL, Java, or similar languages.
- Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and how data supports business decision-making.
- Exposure to data preparation, visualization, or business problem-solving through academic projects, hackathons, or student organizations.
- Awareness of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, cloud platforms, or machine learning workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
