About the role#
As an Enterprise Strategy Consultant Intern, you will work with clients to identify their business challenges and create transformation programs. You will bring together IBM capabilities across strategy, innovation, design, and data analytics to deliver results. This is a 4-month full-time internship term starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research client organizations and industry value chains.
- Use primary and existing IBM research to analyze market trends.
- Identify business issues, form hypotheses, and execute analysis.
- Develop recommendations for clients based on your findings.
- Create client-ready materials for projects and sales efforts, such as presentations and documents.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
- Ability to work full-time in Canada and return to full-time studies after the term.
- Quantitative analysis skills and the ability to derive insights from data.
- Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply.
- Logic and problem-solving skills to address ambiguous tasks.
- Interest in emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
- Resilience and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Previous experience through internships at consulting firms or other corporate environments.
- Involvement in university consulting clubs or case competitions.
