About the role#
As a DevOps Intern, you will join the engineering team to build, automate, and maintain infrastructure and software delivery pipelines. You will work with Development, Quality Assurance, Security, and Operations teams to improve software quality, deployment efficiency, and system reliability. This role focuses on automation, cloud technologies, and infrastructure as code.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate software build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Improve deployment reliability, speed, and consistency.
- Identify ways to reduce manual effort through automation.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Maintain development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Ensure systems remain scalable, reliable, and highly available.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and participate in operational support.
What you'll need#
- Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Skills in Kubernetes or OpenShift administration.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Linux.
- Scripting experience using Python or Bash.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, security automation, and compliance controls.
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and cyber-resilience solutions.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
