About the role#
The IBM Global Real Estate Technology team manages data and workplace solutions across a large portfolio. As an intern, you will work on data management, process automation, and AI implementation. You will join a team focused on improving productivity through technical solutions and data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Learn about data structures and create new methods to analyze data for insights.
- Implement business process automation to improve productivity.
- Apply foundation models and generative AI to expand use cases.
- Use tools including watsonx, Watson Orchestrate, Cognos, Tririga, Maximo, and Envizi.
- Communicate with internal clients to identify business needs and deliver analytical solutions.
- Work in an agile environment with other technology team members.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Java, Python, SQL, and R.
- At least 3 months of experience with JavaScript, Python, R, and SQL.
- At least 3 months of experience with APIs and cloud technologies.
- At least 3 months of experience with visualization tools such as Cognos, Google Analytics, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of data migration, data warehousing, and database server connectivity.
- Experience developing and maintaining data models, algorithms, and statistical models.
- Understanding of agile practices and foundation models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
