About the role#
As a Data Science Analyst Intern, you will work with the Cost & Asset Optimization team to learn about the IBM Infrastructure product portfolio. You will contribute to process optimization and gain experience in cash flow management through Global Asset Recovery.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, supply chain, procurement, development, engineering, and finance.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry standards.
- Apply data science, agile practices, and design thinking to your daily work.
- Use automation and AI tools to improve and optimize existing processes.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Technical expertise with exposure to Cloud and Technology.
- Experience with agile practices and design thinking.
- Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with process optimization using AI tools.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Austin, Texas.
- The position requires working from the office three days per week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
