About the role#
As an AI & Automation Consultant Intern, you will join a consulting team to help plan, coordinate, and support the delivery of AI-driven solutions for enterprise-scale challenges. You will work under the guidance of senior team members to understand how technical teams and business stakeholders collaborate to achieve measurable outcomes. This is a 4-month hybrid internship commencing in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support requirement gathering to document business problems, cases, and pain points.
- Use AI tools to improve internal processes and project deliverables.
- Synthesize and communicate insights and recommendations to project teams and clients.
- Assist with project planning, tracking progress, and meeting timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for client engagements.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve business processes.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- Technology-focused or adjacent coursework, minor, or program.
- Familiarity with AI and GenAI concepts, such as large language models and automation use cases.
- Exposure to structured problem solving and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in English is required for all locations. Fluency in French is required for the Montreal location.
- Previous experience through internships, case competitions, or projects in business analysis, consulting, or AI.

- Locations: Toronto, ON; Calgary, AB; Montreal, QC.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Note: Applicants must be enrolled full-time and return to studies after the work term. MBA and PhD candidates are not eligible.
