About the role#
The Finance and Strategy Internship at Huntington National Bank provides students with hands-on experience in financial and strategic functions. You will work directly with professionals on projects that support the bank's business objectives and long-term growth. This is a full-time, paid summer program.
What you'll do#
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis in FP&A.
- Focus on liquidity, funding, and capital management within Treasury.
- Support shareholder communications and financial messaging in Investor Relations.
- Gain exposure to tax reporting, compliance, and planning activities.
- Contribute to financial reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls.
What you'll need#
- You must be a high school graduate.
- You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university.
- You have at least one quarter or semester of school remaining after the summer program ends.
- You are pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- You have demonstrated teamwork and leadership through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as Huntington does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
