About the role#
The Commercial Banking Internship at Huntington National Bank provides students with hands-on experience in the banking sector. During this summer program, you will partner with experienced professionals to support business lines such as Middle Market Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Asset Finance. You will contribute to meaningful projects while gaining insight into financial analysis, client relationship management, and the commercial credit lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with your manager on business initiatives.
- Support various organization and department projects.
- Provide recommendations to improve your department.
- Conduct financial statement analysis and credit evaluation.
- Participate in Huntington's innovation project.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma and current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university.
- At least one quarter or semester of school remaining after the summer program ends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant coursework in fields such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Statistics.
