About the role#
Capstone Partners is seeking a Market Intelligence Intern to support the research and production of outbound market intelligence content. You will work closely with the Market Intelligence team to track merger and acquisition activity across various sectors. The research reports you help produce are used by business owners, private equity groups, and news outlets to understand M&A trends. This role also includes participation in a Lead Generation rotational program, where you will assist team members with research projects across their respective coverage industries.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze M&A, public, and private equity data.
- Copy edit research reports and articles.
- Track micro and macro-economic trends and industry news for M&A impact.
- Assist senior team members with research projects and content creation.
- Take on additional projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current or incoming undergraduate junior or senior pursuing a four-year degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong writing skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and discretion.
- Intellectual curiosity and a self-motivated approach.
- Familiarity with Capital IQ, FactSet, and Pitchbook is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
