About the role#
Join the Personal Systems organization to explore new product opportunities in agentic AI. You will research customer and market needs, identify opportunities for differentiation, and recommend a focused minimum viable product (MVP) for review by the portfolio and insights team. This internship is intended for conversion to a full-time role. Note that HP does not provide work authorization sponsorship for this position, including CPT or OPT.
What you'll do#
- Research market trends, customer needs, competitors, and emerging agentic AI technologies.
- Develop a scoped MVP recommendation and supporting business rationale.
- Analyze market, financial, and product data to inform your recommendations.
- Create data visualizations and executive-ready presentations.
- Present your findings and recommendations to portfolio and insights stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MBA or relevant master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or Statistics.
- Strong market research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with AI research tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data-visualization tools.

- Pay: $40 to $45 per hour.
