About the role#
This is a 12-week paid summer internship within the Technology and Innovation Organization at HP. Interns will join the Personal Systems team to gain hands-on experience by applying classroom knowledge to real-world technical challenges. This position is intended for conversion to a full-time role, contingent upon performance and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Develop UEFI and BIOS code for HP Workstations.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Gather training data for AI models.
- Participate in projects within the Personal Systems division.
What you'll need#
- Completion of the 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree or the 1st year of a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027 without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency in circuit analysis, design, and analog and digital electronics.
- Experience with PCB design and schematic capture.
- Familiarity with basic RF and wireless concepts for communications-focused roles.
