About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Spring, Texas. You will work on finance transformation and process improvement projects by using data science, automation, and AI. The role involves collaborating with finance and IT teams to solve business challenges through programming and financial analysis. This position is full-time and on-site.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial and operational data to generate insights.
- Build automated workflows and Python-based scripts to improve reporting efficiency.
- Create and update Power BI dashboards and KPI scorecards.
- Explore AI and machine learning techniques for financial analysis and knowledge management.
- Present analytical findings and project results to leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
What you'll need#
- Completion of the 3rd year of a bachelor's degree in Finance or Computer Science.
- Full-time enrollment at an accredited university.
- No more than 24 months of prior professional work experience related to this role.
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027 without company sponsorship.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL, and Power BI.
