About the role#
Honkamp, P.C. is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in St. Louis, Missouri. You will work alongside team members to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects, gaining exposure to public accounting and professional client service.
What you'll do#
- Process monthly accounts.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Handle state sales and use tax preparation.
- Prepare annual 1099 and 1096 forms.
- Maintain client depreciation schedules.
- Manage administrative tasks as assigned.

- Current enrollment in an accounting degree program.
- Strong academic performance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
- Ability to manage your time effectively.
