About the role#
The HR Learning & Development Intern will support our team during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas. You will contribute to our training programs and help improve how we support employee development.
What you'll do#
- Work with stakeholders to define competencies and identify functional training needs.
- Research training content providers and evaluate their product offerings.
- Structure training programs to help employees grow.
- Design and send communications about training implementation to relevant stakeholders.
- Upload and manage program content within the learning management system (LMS).
- Assist with other HR projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program, preferably in Human Resources or Learning and Development.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- General knowledge of HR policies and learning and development principles.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team, while interacting with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A commitment to high ethical standards.
- Preferred: Experience with graphic design, strong analytical skills, and a self-directed work style.
