About the role#
As an HSSE Intern, you will support the strategic initiatives of the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment department. You will assist in enhancing compliance and driving continuous improvement across the organization. This role offers exposure to HSSE practices and allows you to contribute to safety and environmental objectives while working with a global, multinational team.
What you'll do#
- Develop a digital system to assign and track compliance tasks.
- Analyze HSSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Establish a process to track HSSE inspections digitally.
- Participate in the annual risk assessment review project.
- Observe workplace culture by interacting with different functions.
- Develop professional communication skills through interaction with Executive Leadership.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited university or college.
- Engineering or Safety major preferred.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or within a larger team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail.
