About the role#
We are looking for a Learning & Talent Intern to support employee development and talent initiatives. You will work directly with the HR team to coordinate learning programs, manage learning technology, and contribute to projects that improve how we develop our people. This is a 14-week, full-time position starting May 17, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration of virtual, online, and instructor-led training programs.
- Help with scheduling, enrollment, and learner support.
- Maintain content within the Learning Management System and analyze participation data.
- Create learning materials such as presentations, job aids, and eLearning modules.
- Research best practices in talent development and provide recommendations.
- Partner with HR staff and business leaders on development projects.
- Create communications to promote learning opportunities across the company.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Instructional Design, Education, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and PowerPoint.
- A curious mindset and a willingness to learn new technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with tools like Articulate 360, Canva, Power BI, or an LMS is a plus.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at our corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- This is a paid, full-time internship (40 hours per week).
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
