About the role#
We are looking for an Inside Sales Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside our Account Executives to learn about sales strategy, lead generation, and customer relationship management. This is a full-time, 14-week program where you will contribute to business initiatives and gain practical experience in the manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Identify and qualify potential leads through online research, social media, and databases.
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social media to schedule meetings.
- Prepare sales presentations and manage customer information in Salesforce.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to support our sales efforts.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and analyzing data to track performance.
- Participate in sales training, team meetings, and various departmental projects.
- Complete projects such as re-engaging lost sales opportunities and developing a go-to-market strategy for a new initiative.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and use Salesforce and SAP Business One.
- Prior experience in sales or customer-related roles is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site at our corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- The internship is a full-time, paid position running for 14 weeks, starting May 17, 2027.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
