About the role#
This is a paid, part-time Human Resources Internship based in Mequon, Wisconsin. Starting in January 2027, you will work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours per week during the summer. This role offers hands-on experience across HR functions while you work on projects and receive professional development. Please note that this position does not provide benefits and does not offer sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to employees.
- Assist with recruitment, benefits administration, research, reporting, and event planning.
- Help conduct new hire orientation sessions.
- Keep HRIS data accurate and updated.
- Manage employee files and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Document and improve existing HR processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Current status of at least a sophomore.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time, handle multiple tasks, and work well in a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with HRIS, customer service, or HR law is preferred.
