About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Human Resources Internship for Summer 2027. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in Orrville, Ohio. The role focuses on supporting HR operations, managing employee inquiries, and gaining broad exposure to human resources functions.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a primary contact for current and former employees, their families, contractors, and applicants regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Manage and prioritize employee requests through the internal case management system.
- Assist the service center team with opening, processing, and closing cases.
- Analyze information to identify problems and determine root causes.
- Resolve or escalate issues and communicate outcomes directly to employees.
- Coordinate interview schedules with candidates.
- Partner with a third-party vendor to manage the pre-employment screening process.
- Select an area of interest to specialize in and provide escalation assistance.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing in a degree program.
- Educational background in Human Resources or a relevant field.
- Strong time-management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and knowledge of standard business practices.
- Professionalism and a commitment to serving the employee population.

- Location: Orrville, Ohio.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring onsite presence for a minimum of 9 days per month during core weeks.
