About the role#
We are looking for an environmental intern to join our team at the Longueuil head office for the Winter 2027 term. This position is full-time and operates on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Support the maintenance and improvement of our environmental, health, and safety performance tracking processes. This includes monitoring greenhouse gas emissions, waste, water consumption, and incident management.
- Develop and communicate best practices for environmental and safety management to integrate these solutions into our business processes.
- Create awareness content for all employees.
- Build targeted training materials for site-specific environmental and safety leads.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor or Master degree in environmental studies.
- Proficiency in English is required to communicate with international suppliers, clients, auditors, and subsidiaries.
- Creativity and the ability to simplify complex information for clear communication.
- A professional, autonomous, and proactive approach to your assigned tasks.
- Openness, strong listening skills, and the ability to reflect on your work.
- Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and following workplace standards.
