About the role#
Join the Global Engineering Training and Development team in Montreal to gain practical experience in instructional design. You will work within a multidisciplinary team focused on organizational development, helping to shape the training experience for our engineering staff.
What you'll do#
- Analyze training needs for Global Engineering groups.
- Observe the onboarding journey of new employees to identify common challenges.
- Consult with subject matter experts to pinpoint training gaps.
- Design and implement a new employee training program.
- Recommend structures and teaching methods for training initiatives.
- Review development plans with experts to ensure expectations are met.
- Create online course content in Workday Learning, including scriptwriting, screen captures, audio recording, and video editing.
- Gather feedback on programs to suggest improvements and future developments.
- Support the broader Training and Development team with ongoing projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Educative Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field, with at least one year of study completed.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- Ability to manage, plan, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong creative thinking and a detail-oriented approach.
- A pragmatic, self-starting, and action-oriented mindset.
