About the role#
Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Corporate Controller Intern to work at our Irving, Texas office. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience and mentorship within our finance department. You will work alongside professionals on financial reporting and corporate accounting projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support the annual Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) site review process.
- Contribute to the opening balance sheet preparation for M&A transactions.
- Participate in various financial analysis and reporting projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc corporate initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.
