About the role#
Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Finance Intern to join our team in Irving, Texas. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work with experienced professionals to gain hands-on training and mentorship. The role offers exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to participate in strategic business processes.
What you'll do#
- Support financial reporting and performance analysis across our business units.
- Assist with cash flow modeling and forecasting.
- Help with finance due diligence and analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business insights.
- Participate in the company's strategic planning and budgeting processes.
What you'll need#
- A degree or current enrollment in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly with minimal supervision.
- A high level of attention to detail for managing complex, data-driven tasks.
- Effective communication skills for presenting findings and working within a team.
