About the role#
Heidelberg Materials is looking for a Chemical Engineer Intern to join our team in Camden, New Jersey. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. You will work on technical projects to help us meet production goals while learning how our quarry and aggregate operations function.
What you'll do#
- Support plant operations to reach production targets.
- Partner with managers, production staff, and experienced engineers.
- Complete technical projects that provide insight into site operations.
- Learn the specific missions of the maintenance, quality, and production departments.
- Ensure all work follows safety, health, and environmental regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior or senior student.
- You are pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- You can manage multiple projects at the same time.
- You have strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- You are flexible and open to change.
