About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026 based in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site, splitting your time between office tasks and field operations at a quarry or aggregate site. The role involves exposure to various weather conditions and requires the use of personal protective equipment.
What you'll do#
- Support assigned project work and plant operations to meet production goals.
- Partner with engineers, managers, and production staff across different departments.
- Complete technical projects to understand how a quarry or aggregate site functions.
- Learn the specific missions of the production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status in a Mining Engineering or Geology degree program.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the team.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and an openness to change.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and motivate others.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.
