About the role#
Heartland ABA is looking for individuals to join our team as a Future RBT / Behavior Hero Fellow. This role focuses on providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children. You will work directly with clients to support their independence and help them reach personal goals. This is a part-time position that requires a 6-month commitment.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one ABA services using evidence-based interventions.
- Carry out skill-building and care plans as a member of our clinical team.
- Record session data using electronic devices.
- Create a positive learning environment for clients and communicate with their families.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- RBT certification is required before you begin working.
- A willingness to learn and an interest in helping children with Autism.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in difficult situations.
- Experience in areas such as education, childcare, youth mentorship, or healthcare support is helpful but not required. We provide paid training.

- Location: Saint Louis, Missouri.
- Work Modality: On-site at client homes or in community-based locations.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling start dates.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.

Heartland ABA provides personalized, at-home therapy for children and young adults on the autism spectrum. The organization serves individuals between 18 months and 21 years of age. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the company operates as a privately held entity. It employs between 11 and 50 people.
