About the role#
Heartland ABA is hiring Behavior Hero Fellows to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This role is for individuals who want to support children with Autism in Saint Louis. You will join our clinical team to help clients reach their goals while gaining experience in the mental health field. All positions are part-time and require a 6-month commitment.
What you'll do#
- Implement skill-building and care plans using evidence-based interventions.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to clients in their homes or community settings.
- Record session data accurately on electronic devices.
- Foster a positive learning environment for children.
- Connect with families to support client progress.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- RBT certification is required before you begin working.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
- A willingness to learn and a focus on supporting children with Autism.
- Experience in childcare, education, behavioral health, or caregiving is helpful but not required.

- This role is located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
- Work is performed on-site at client locations.
- This is a paid, part-time position.

Heartland ABA provides personalized, at-home therapy for children and young adults on the autism spectrum. The organization serves individuals between 18 months and 21 years of age. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the company operates as a privately held entity. It employs between 11 and 50 people.
