About the role#
HealthPartners is hiring a Desktop Fulfillment Intern to support enterprise technology operations. You will work with Desktop Analysts and project teams to prepare, deploy, and maintain technology across our locations. This is a full-time, temporary position with an anticipated duration of six months.
What you'll do#
- Configure and prepare computers and technology equipment for deployment.
- Deliver and install monitors, printers, computers, and related hardware.
- Support workstation replacement and deployment activities.
- Assist with office moves, facility projects, and technology implementations.
- Maintain inventory and asset tracking information.
- Manage equipment receiving, staging, and recovery.
- Provide support for technology requests while following established standards.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Interest in Information Technology or technical support.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, move, and install computer equipment as needed.
- Reliable transportation for travel to various locations.
- Preferred: College coursework in IT, previous technical support experience, or relevant certifications like CompTIA or Microsoft.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
