About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student Intern to join the Methodist Hospital Pharmacy team. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support patient care and pharmacy operations. This role is open to pharmacy students in their first through fourth year of study.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and prepare medications and supplies for patients and care areas.
- Assist pharmacists with processing outpatient prescriptions.
- Manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and reordering medications and supplies.
- Process cash register transactions.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
- Deliver medications and assist the pharmacist with daily tasks.
- Students in their second through fourth year may check the work of pharmacy technicians.
- Students in their third or fourth year may assist with medication reconciliation in the Emergency Center or hospice chart reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited professional pharmacy program.
- Registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern.
- A valid driver license and the ability to meet insurability requirements related to motor vehicle violation criteria.
- Familiarity with computer software and automated dispensing products is helpful.

- Location: Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: One evening per week and every fourth weekend.
