About the role#
HealthPartners offers a one-year, post-graduate Administrative Fellowship starting in summer 2027. This role is designed to help you build leadership skills within an integrated health care system. You will work directly with senior leaders to address complex, real-world challenges. Rather than following a rigid rotation, your experience will be shaped by your professional goals and the strategic priorities of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Lead and contribute to strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives.
- Take ownership of project-based work that has a measurable impact on the organization.
- Gain exposure to various leaders, teams, and functions throughout the system.
- Develop a deeper understanding of health care operations, finance, strategy, and organizational leadership.
- Apply concepts from your graduate education to solve complex health care problems.
What you'll need#
- You must be a 2nd year graduate student in a health care administration program.
- You need to complete a master’s degree in health care administration, public health, business administration, or a related field before the fellowship begins.
- A demonstrated interest in pursuing a leadership career in health care.
- Strong skills in communication, analysis, collaboration, and project management.
- The ability to work effectively with teams and leaders at all levels of the organization.

- Location: Minnesota, United States.
- Term: Summer 2027 through summer 2028.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- This is a paid fellowship.
