About the role#
HealthPartners offers a one-year, post-graduate Administrative Fellowship beginning in summer 2027. This role is designed to develop future health care leaders by providing hands-on experience within an integrated health care organization. Rather than following a fixed rotation, the fellowship is tailored to the professional interests of the fellow and the strategic priorities of the organization. Fellows work directly with senior leaders to build leadership capabilities and gain experience across various functions.
What you'll do#
- Lead and contribute to strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives.
- Take ownership of project-based work with measurable organizational impact.
- Gain exposure to leaders, teams, and functions across an integrated health care system.
- Develop a deeper understanding of health care operations, strategy, finance, and organizational leadership.
- Apply concepts and skills developed through graduate education to complex, real-world health care challenges.
What you'll need#
- Must be a second-year graduate student in a health care administration program.
- Completion of a master’s degree in health care administration, health services administration, public health, business administration, or a related field prior to the start of the fellowship.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a leadership career in health care.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and with leaders at multiple levels of the organization.

- Location: Minnesota, United States.
- Term: Approximately one year, summer 2027 through summer 2028.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid position.
