About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student Intern at Park Nicollet, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will provide customer service and support the daily operations of the pharmacy team. This role is open to students currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
What you'll do#
- Prepare medications and supplies for patients, care areas, and ancillary departments.
- Assist pharmacists with the processing of outpatient prescriptions.
- Receive, stock, and reorder medications and supplies.
- Manage cash register transactions.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
- Provide general assistance to the pharmacist as needed.
- Students in their 2nd to 4th year may check work completed by pharmacy technicians.
- Students in their 3rd or 4th year may assist the Emergency Center Pharmacist with medication reconciliation and the Hospice Program Pharmacist with chart reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited professional pharmacy program.
- Registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as either a Pharmacy Technician or a Pharmacy Intern.
- A valid driver license and the ability to meet insurability requirements regarding motor vehicle violations.
- Familiarity with computer software and automated dispensing products is helpful.

- Location: Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: One evening per week and every third weekend.
- Employment type: Full-time, paid position.
