About the role#
As a Strategic Sourcing intern, you will join the team in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, from January to June 2027. You will assist with projects across various departments, including Design and Construction, Food and Beverage, Marketing, and Walt Disney Imagineering. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week commitment requiring full availability Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved service, and compliance.
- Develop and implement eRFIs, eRFQs, eRFPs, and eAuctions.
- Facilitate supplier presentations and act as a liaison between the sourcing team and key clients.
- Participate in supplier negotiations and support contract implementations.
- Conduct external market assessments and opportunity analyses.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and suppliers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
- A professional, organized, and focused demeanor.
- Must be at least 18 years old with unrestricted work authorization.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour for undergraduates and $30.40 per hour for graduate students.
