About the role#
This is a full-time, paid, hands-on internship program designed to prepare you for store leadership. You will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role by working 40 hours per week in a store environment. You will work closely with an Executive Team Lead mentor to understand retail business operations, develop leadership skills, and gain experience in managing teams and store performance.
What you'll do#
- Spend time on the salesfloor and in the backroom leading team members.
- Work alongside your mentor and other leaders to gain an understanding of their roles.
- Plan daily goals and organize plans within the building.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to identify opportunities.
- Lead daily huddles and provide summaries of results and priorities to your team.
- Teach, coach, and train team members while providing performance feedback.
- Address team member concerns and remove operational hurdles.
- Engage with guests to solve their needs and ensure a welcoming experience.
What you'll need#
- Strong interest in retail management.
- Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks independently.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle merchandise, climb ladders, and lift up to 44 pounds.

- Locations: Positions are available in Exton, Springfield, Glen Mills, West Chester, Lancaster, and Lititz, Pennsylvania; and Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, and Dover, Delaware.
