About the role#
HealthCorps is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Curriculum Intern to support the development, organization, and improvement of educational materials. This role collaborates with the Program and Education teams to strengthen the content used in the Teens Make Health Happen program. You will gain hands-on experience in curriculum design, youth-focused education, and nonprofit program delivery while contributing to learning experiences for students and facilitators.
What you'll do#
- Support the collection and integration of activity modifications for different age groups, class sizes, and instructional formats to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
- Contribute to the creation of new curriculum and educational materials by drafting objectives, facilitator guidance, and hands-on activities.
- Assist in organizing professional development content for managers and facilitators.
- Maintain and update the Curriculum Hub by organizing files and ensuring materials align with formatting and style standards.
- Participate in team discussions and projects, contributing ideas that strengthen curriculum development and youth engagement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student or recent graduate studying education, public health, psychology, social sciences, communications, or a related field.
- Ability to commit 6-8 hours per week for at least one semester.
- Basic writing skills with the ability to draft clear, youth-friendly content.
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Interest in adolescent health, wellness, or youth education.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
