Teens Make Health Happen Marketing & Communications Internship

About the role#

HealthCorps is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support regional efforts in Palm Beach County. This role focuses on elevating the organization's mission through storytelling, community engagement, and digital content. Interns will work with regional staff and mentors to connect students, educators, and community members to health and wellness programming. This is a paid, part-time position available for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Support content collection and storytelling for digital communications, including social media, newsletters, and websites.
• Visit local school sites to capture stories and content from Teens Make Health Happen clubs.
• Help manage regional social media channels, including content creation and engagement monitoring.
• Assist with the development of communications materials such as email updates, presentations, and promotional messaging.
• Create and update marketing collateral, including flyers, posters, and event signage.
• Promote and execute regional events through digital outreach and on-site support.
• Track engagement analytics and assist with reporting on the impact of marketing efforts.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or Business Administration.
• Applied understanding of basic marketing principles.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Graphic design skills and basic photography or video editing abilities.
• Curiosity about current trends, social platforms, and youth-centered storytelling.

• Location: West Palm Beach, Florida.
• Modality: Hybrid.
• Commitment: Part-time (8+ hours per week).
• Compensation: Paid via stipend; college credit is available.
