About the role#
This internship is based in our Laminated Products Plant in Holland, Michigan. You will join a cohort of interns for a 12-week summer program. The role provides hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and includes opportunities to attend industry events, participate in professional workshops, and connect with mentors across the business.
What you'll do#
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Laminated Products Plant.
- Use data to help drive decision-making processes.
- Gain practical leadership experience through assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or General Business.
- Junior level status or higher by Fall 2027.
- Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Unrestricted right to work in the US.
- Experience with Office 365 tools and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage deadlines.
- A desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
- A GPA of 2.95 or higher is preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, previous employment, or extra-curricular activities is a plus.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
